It is always cheering to see
street illuminations. They
brighten the mood, uplift the
spirits and enhance a
celebration or festival. If you
haven’t already done so, take a
walk or a drive along Serangoon
Road one evening this week and
let the Deepavali light up
brighten your mood and uplift
your spirits. The Festival of
Light reminds us that the tough
times we are going through will
pass and that hope will triumph
over despair just as light
triumphs over darkness.

celebrate the festival and to
