Dear
Members and Friends
Building on last week’s theme of
solidarity and partnership
building, several of you have
contacted me with offers to help
your fellow members. This is why
we launched a new initiative
last week called Members Helping
Members leveraging on the
Chamber’s platform for mutual
benefit. We will regularly
advertise members’ webinars and
pro-bono assistance in a
dedicated EDM. These activities
are opportunities for members to
share their expertise, build
awareness of that expertise and
keep open the doors to business.
They are also a great
opportunity for members to
benefit from their fellow
members’ expertise and to share
their own. If you’d like to be
part of Members Helping Members,
contact me at
[email protected] or
[email protected]
Last week I promised you more
partnerships. Your Chamber is
collaborating with Dr. Deborah
Elms and her team at Asian Trade
Centre to fund the production of
business peoples’ guides to free
trade agreements (FTAs) in plain
English. These guides will be
digital and available to all.
They are designed to make FTAs
more accessible to the business
community.
With
Government approval, our office
remains open for exporters and
shippers to obtain certificates
of origin and to have their
shipping documents endorsed. The
wheels of commerce are turning
more slowly but they are still
turning and we are here to help.
Keep safe and well.
Yours faithfully
Victor Mills
