Members and Friends
In a
few days we will celebrate a new
lunar year and the Chamber has
never looked so festive. The
photo in this message is taken
in our Members’ Room. The
festive design was
conceptualized by my colleague
Shirley and executed by her and
our colleagues Erin, Karelyn and
Raihan.
The
rat is the first animal of the
lunar zodiac and signals the
start of a new cycle. Indeed,
the Year of the Rat, which
begins on 25 January 2020, is
the start of a new 60 year cycle
of the lunar calendar. So, it is
doubly auspicious with the
promise of new beginnings and
new possibilities for us all.
It is
a great pleasure for my team and
I to wish each of you, your
families and colleagues a happy
and prosperous new year!
