Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri to all our Muslim members and friends! My team and I wish each of you, your families and friends a joyful celebration.
One of the things which impressed me most about Singapore when I first came here in 1985 was how people of different faiths celebrate each other’s festivals. It’s part of Singapore’s success in achieving and sustaining a harmonious, multi-racial and multi-religious society. It’s based on equality and mutual respect which we can all celebrate and practise every day and especially at every festival.
