Dear Members and Friends,
As the SGSecure@Workplaces representative for my
office I attended a seminar yesterday
organized by
the Tripartite Partners in collaboration
with agencies of the Home Team.
Here’s what else I learned some of which
may be useful for you:-
-
Preparing your company’s
response to a potential
terrorist attack should be
part of your Business
Continuity Plan.
-
Making sure you can “work
from anywhere” is key in
case your location is
damaged or inaccessible.
-
Training your teams in CPR
and firefighting is vital as
is training them to provide
psychological first aid for
themselves and others in the
aftermath of an attack.
-
Tens of thousands of
companies in Singapore have
signed up for
SGSecure@Workplaces. That
leaves many more still to do
so.
-
It’s no surprise that
leadership, as always, is
key to getting this done and
to supporting your company’s
SGSecure representative.
It’s in your business interests
to fight the apathy that is the
result of the wonderful peace
and security we have enjoyed for
so long but can no longer take
for granted. Get
prepared today.
Encourage everyone in your
company to download the SGSecure
app which is available free of
charge on the Apple and Android
platforms. Visit
www.mom.gov.sg/sgsecure and
register your company’s representative and
get access to a host of useful
learning materials which are
updated regularly.

With my best wishes.
