In last week's MemberCONNECT I shared about your Chamber delivering its very first television forum on collaborative innovation. This week, I'm delighted to share that your Chamber has achieved another first.

The inaugural SICC Circular Economy Forum took place on 17 October 2018 at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre. Themed "Commercial Opportunities in Sustainability", the forum demonstrated how profitable businesses can be built and sustained while doing right by our planet and our species.

The event was attended by 100 C-suite executives, sustainability leaders, Singapore government representatives and members of the Diplomatic Corps. Delegates, speakers and partners have all said that the forum was meaningful. We'll be sustaining the momentum achieved at the forum with a position paper on the Circular Economy in Singapore to be launched next month.
