The theme of this year's National Day Parade (NDP) is: "We are Singapore." What does it mean?

It means that irrespective of who we are, or where we come from originally, or where we live, or what work we do, or how old we are, everyone of us is Singapore. That's a very powerful and welcome message of inclusion. It means that each one of us is an ambassador for an inclusive Singapore.

As we celebrate National Day this week, let's also celebrate and practise inclusion every day of the year, always remembering: "We are Singapore!"

Majulah Singapura!
