Because the Chambers modest investment portfolio produced excellent returns in 2017 thanks to benign markets and active management by member UBS AG Singapore were working on a number of initiatives to give back something to members.
This years AGM Reception will be very heavily subsidised for members by your Chamber and the Principal Event Sponsor, Singapore American School. Worth SGD 128++ per person, it will only cost members SGD 25 nett. My team and I are hoping that as many members as possible will attend the AGM Reception to take advantage of this member-exclusive benefit.
Our keynote speaker this year will be Ms. Andrea Della Mattea, President, Microsoft Asia Pacific, who will talk to us about the changes taking place in the global IT industry, and how Microsoft is addressing these transformational challenges with specific emphasis on cultural transformation within the organisation.
