Dear Members and Friends
In addition to using this lead article space to showcase your capabilities, ideas and thought leadership, I also like to use this space to bring quality events to your attention. One such event is the St. Gallen Symposium which is held annually. Read on to find out why you should attend and support it.
With warmest regards
Victor Mills
Chief Executive
St. Gallen Symposium at St. Gallen University, Switzerland
Organised by the university’s International Students’ Committee, the symposium is an annual global gathering of high-level leaders from the worlds of academia, business, civil society and government. They interact with young people from all over the world. Probing and critical questions posed by these “Leaders of Tomorrow” along with interactive and varied formats help provide all attendees with unique perspectives. They, in turn, often give rise to unusual problem-solving approaches.
In 2018, the 48th St. Gallen Symposium will be held on the campus of the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland from 2–4 May. The key topic will be “Beyond the end of work”.
The St. Gallen Symposium has had the privilege of hosting personalities such as DPM Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister Ong Ye Kung, Mr. Jack Ma and Ms. Christine Lagarde in previous editions.
The widespread support of partners allows the “Leaders of Tomorrow” to attend free of charge. This means that the very best of the world’s young people come to St. Gallen.
