Dear Members and Friends
Before collaboration can come about there are a few preconditions which must be met. First, there has to be a specific need. For example, you want to develop a new product, service or solution. Then comes the critical question, with whom should you collaborate? Internal or external parties? Whoever you shortlist you will satisfy yourself that each potential collaborator has the capabilities you need to ensure a successful outcome.
The most important consideration before you commit then comes into play. Who do you trust? Trust is essential in any relationship. It is essential for collaborations to happen and to work. If there is no trust or where trust has been undermined by the actions of one of the parties, it is impossible to continue. This is true whether you are entering into a collaboration like employment or a business deal or buying services from a vendor. If trust is lost, the deal is off.
When you sell your products and services pay attention to establishing and maintaining trust.
Have a great week ahead.
With warmest regards
Victor Mills Chief Executive
