Dear Members and Friends
Every company knows why it is vital to support National Service (NS) and their employees who are NSmen. They work together with SAF regulars and the Home Team to provide the security we and all our businesses enjoy in Singapore. Many of you, like your Chamber, are recipients of the Total Defence Awards which make us advocates for Total Defence to our employees and to our business partners.
Because 1 July 2017 falls on a Saturday this year, the SAF Day Combined Rededication Ceremonies (CRCs) will be held on Friday, 30 June 2017. The CRC was introduced in 1987 to give employers an opportunity to pledge support for Total Defence. The CRC also serves to heighten awareness and/or remind all your employees of your company’s and their support of and commitment to National Defence.
Organise your own event on 30 June 2017 or, better still, join one of the four CRCs organised by the following companies on a voluntary basis:
