Dear Members As you know, there has been much talk in the Committee for the Future Economy Report and in the Budget Statement about the role which trade associations and chambers (TACs) should play. The contention is that TACs know their members well and, therefore, know what they need and how to respond. That is, of course, the ideal state but not all TACs have members as engaged as SICC’s. In the spirit of you continuing to help keep your Chamber relevant and because my team and I want to continue to help you as much as we can, here are two questions for you this week:  • What practical assistance do you need from your Chamber to help you in your restructuring/transformation journey? • What should SICC be looking at/delivering that it is not already doing?
