Members got a glimpse into 3M’s world of innovation during a site visit to 3M Singapore’s Yishun office on 13 September. Mr Keith Roddan, Business Development Manager, Personal Safety Division, 3M Asia-Pacific, shared the “3M Innovation Story”. He elaborated on 3M’s expertise and experiences in creating and sustaining an innovative culture and ecosystem based on science. He also spoke about 3M’s management philosophy and their belief in the power of collaboration.

Following Keith’s presentation, participants went on a guided tour of the 3M Customer Technical Centre (CTC), discovering the magic of 3M’s science-based technologies, such as abrasives, adhesives and nonwovens. They were also engaged in fun and interactive demonstrations as they learnt about 3M’s wide array of solutions in key industries, such as electronics, building and construction, retail and transport engineering.
