SICC Members' Room, 6 Raffles Quay #10-01, Singapore 048580

On 25 July, we were delighted to co-host a moderated panel discussion on the “Culture of Wellness” with premium member, motion the creative influence.

The panelists comprised of Ms Sheela Parakkal, Chief Human Resources Officer, Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited; Ms Deanna Ong, Chief People Officer & Managing Director, GIC; and Ms Narita Cheah, Co-Founder & Director, Paperspace. The discussions were moderated by Juliana Mattar, Founder & Managing Director, motion the creative influence.

The discussion started with the panelists sharing about what a “culture of wellness” means to them personally and their organisations. The panelists emphasized the critical role of “Humility Leadership” in creating an open, inclusive and engaged work culture. Adaptive infrastructure and flexible policies must also be available to support a conducive workplace.  With the right intention and the right execution, leaders help people to succeed beyond themselves. In such an environment, high level of employee engagement, co-creation, ownership and self-discovery are evident.

Many thanks to our panelists and moderator for the engaging discussions and to everyone who attended the event!

*The proceeds from this event will go towards the Association for Persons with Special Needs’ (APSN) programme that provides one week of training support to prepare trainees for open employment.
