An Analysis of Singapore’s Cybersecurity Bill and Its Implications for Organisations

14 August 2017 @ 10:45 am - 12:30 pm

SICC Members' Room, Singapore

Member Rajah & Tann helmed a discussion of the draft Cybersecurity Bill. Our guest speakers, Rajesh Sreenivasan and Steve Tan, Partners, Rajah & Tann Singapore, analysed the key issues raised in the Bill which may have an impact on organisations. These include the identification of a critical information infrastructure (CII) owner, the impact on non-CII owners and the proposed licensing obligations on cybersecurity service providers. The presentation slides will be available for download soon.

Inputs from the discussions have been consolidated by the Chamber and we will be making a submission in response to the current public consultation process on behalf of all members. Members who have any additional feedback are encouraged to share theirs no later than Monday, August 21.
