The Chamber’s 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 20 June at Grand Hyatt Singapore. The outgoing SICC Chairman, Mr Jonathan Asherson delivered a report on Chamber activities over the past year and shared our 2018 financial results. The new Board of Directors for the 2019/2020 term was elected during the meeting and we are delighted to announce the following key officer bearers:-

• First Deputy Chairman, Mr. Uttam Kripalani, Chairman, Galaxy Insurance Consultants Pte Ltd

Immediately following the AGM was a luncheon graced by our Guest of Honour, Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance. Just under 300 Chamber members and partners, diplomats and Singapore government representatives attended the luncheon and participated in an insightful, closed-door dialogue with DPM Heng Swee Keat. The Q&A segment was moderated by Prof. Lily Kong, President, Singapore Management University.
