Mr. Cheong shared with members of the committee a new initiative by Enterprise Singapore in calling for participation in the New Technical Committee on the Circular Economy. They shared with members this latest establishment by the International Organisation for Standards (ISO) and how Singapore can play an influencing role in shaping requirements and framework towards its circular economy projects. This was followed by discussions on forming of the Technical Committee, the recent forum that was held by the chamber, as well as the position paper that the committee is working on.
