Talent Development Series: Rising Through the Ranks

Today’s workforce has changed drastically. As employees change jobs more frequently, employers must provide quicker career development and a more rapid cycle of promotion to remain an attractive place to work in. Employees, on the other hand, must also take charge of their own development.

This workshop is catered for both the organisation and the individual – organisations will discover how to help employees better develop their career; whilst individuals will learn how to set themselves up for a promotion.

You will be introduced to the ‘Unwritten Rules’ – a concept coined by Dr. Indigo Triplett, CEO of 4D Performance. Most organisations provide an employee handbook containing the baseline rules of the company, but often there is nothing that describes to an employee how to rise through the ranks. Dr. Indigo will discuss her HR philosophy of playing the game by the unwritten rules that can help professionals move quickly from the middle to the top.
